As a Passion Catalyst, I focus on both discovery and action, working with people to explore, pursue, and create their passions. Some of the steps along the way include: An understanding of what lights you up at a core level Developing your unique Passion Core SM, the internal compass that will help identify the right direction, evaluate opportunities, and stay on track for the long term Identifying a new passion-based career path Identifying steps to take Defining potential obstacles and ways around them Identifying opportunities to incorporate more passion into your career even without making a dramatic change Staying accountable for what you want to do Taking action and making it happen! With a focus on discovery and action, my role is that of guide, sounding board, investigator and instigator. Discovery You may have a lot of questions about where you're going and how to get there. What you may not realize is that you also have all the answers. My expertise as a Passion Catalyst isn't in telling clients what they should do. It is in helping them uncover their own inner knowledge of what their passion is, and how to bring it to life. Action Discovery without action will make you better informed, yet no closer to your dreams. I also help clients identify what action is needed, and help them stay accountable for following through. My approach My focus as a Passion Catalyst is 100% on you and the achievement of your dreams. I don't give advice. Rather, I ask questions that help you uncover what you desire and how to pursue it. I also help you maintain accountability for what you set out to do. Using my Occupational Adventure Guide career passion system as a framework, I work with you to help identify your course, map it, and make it happen. The Passion Catalyst relationship is safe, confidential, and non-judgmental. It is a place where you can explore freely and comfortably, without risk of criticism or judgment. My role is as a catalyst for your Passion Pursuit; you control of how it progresses. Time frame Discoveries and action take time to unfold. With that in mind, the initial Passion Catalyst engagement is three months / twelve sessions (meeting on a weekly basis). After that you can continue on a month to month basis if you choose. Passion Profile For those who want to get a fast start to their Passion Catalyst work, or who aren't ready to jump into the full process, I offer a three-hour, stand-alone whiteboarding exercise called the Passion Profile. This session helps you identify the underlying characteristics of the things that you have delighted in doing over the course of your life. It looks at what you have really enjoyed, but more importantly, it looks at why. You will come away with a deeper perspective on what makes you tick that you can apply as you explore how to create a more fulfilling career. More concretely, you will come away with a document outlining the results of your Passion Profile exploration that you can refer back to as you proceed.
